ALLUM SRL was founded in 1978 by Mr Daniele Magni, who had gained skills in the manufacture of wrought-iron chandeliers since the late '60s, within the industrial area of Brianza (around 40km north-east of Milan). Allum is nowadays located in Merate, between Milan and Lecco.

From the beginning Allum has been lucky to exploit its logistical position in this area of metal-working and mechanical engineering expertise, allowing it to keep a compact structure with high flexibility by cooperating with local third party specialist vendors, in order to produce its range of outdoor lighting fixtures utilising cast aluminium construction. Allum's product range is designed and manufactured to comply with international safety standards, to ensure a real quality for its customers.

Allum continues its policy to produce in-house, to maintain direct control over quality standards and achieve greater flexibility in responding to market needs; flexibility also supported by its policy of storage, which enables a quick turnaround between order and delivery.
